The evidence provided by the Public Prosecutor's Office has the probative value of the crime of child abduction and the criminal liability of Lizbeth Abigail A.A., and for this reason the sentence will be handed down against him in one week for the theft of the baby that occurred in September 2017 at Aurelio Valdivieso general hospital and which shocked the Oaxacan society.

During the trial hearing held yesterday in virtual form due to the increase in the pandemic, the judges of the Tanivet trial court of the judicial circuit of Valles Centrales confirmed that the evidence provided is of probative value and for which Lizbeth Abigail will receive a conviction.

The tests

The visiting judge specified that the evidence was the statements of the elements of the State Investigation Agency who participated in the events, during the operation in Saint Lucia del Camino after the theft of the newborn from the Aurelio Valdivieso general hospital located on Mexican Air Force Street in the Reforma colony.

They mentioned that the then corporation coordinator told them that a taxi driver had called a radio station and provided the location where he had taken two women with a baby.

Therefore, an operation was carried out on the banks of the Salado River, where Lizbeth Abigail and Verónica A.L. were arrested as they were carrying the baby and the diaper with clothes he had in the hospital.

Likewise, the statement of the experts who performed the planimetry, the spoken portraits, but no mention was made of the DNA tests they had indicated after the recovery of the child and neither was the taxi driver's statement mentioned.

The story for the baby theft was planned by Abigail. They revealed the investigations from the beginning, and Veronica had stated that she aborted her daughter who would call Camila when she was eight months pregnant.

On August 6, 2017, Veronica felt severe pain and bleeding, so she decided to look for her friend Abigail, whom she also knows as Sandy or Aby.

Veronica said she worked as a private security employee at the civilian hospital and so did Abigail, but because of her pregnancy she left. On June 7, 2017, she was sought to return, but it was not possible because she was six months pregnant.

After losing her baby, Veronica was sad, but Abigail told her that she had to be strong and that she would soon solve the problem.

On her Facebook page, Veronica continued to write that Camila was in her womb for her partner in the United States to send her money.

Abigail decided to change her home and went to rent for the Saint Lucia Extension colony, where she talked to Veronica that they could make her partner believe that the baby was born and planned to steal the baby from the civilian hospital.

They were going to take their baby from Dulce, known as the brunette, but they said it was already big.

A week ago, Abigail told Veronica to talk to her partner to send money because she was going to be relieved in a private hospital.

Steal the baby

On September 17, 2017, Abigail called her on the phone and summoned her at 5.30 a.m. a block from Aurelio Valdivieso General Hospital, stating that she had everything fixed and that the guards were going to leave the doors open.

On Monday morning, they arrived at the hospital, both entered through the access door to the ambulances.

Abigail entered for the minor, took him out, and on the stairs he handed it to Veronica, who went out with him in his arms and took him in a taxi.

He mentioned that Aby gave her clothes to change in her home and talked to her family, saying she had given birth.

Sandy went by Veronica to take her home when they were arrested.

After the child was recovered, it was reported that they had carried out DNA tests in less than 24 hours and confirmed that the child was the same child, but the evidence was not mentioned at the hearing.

Investigations continued and on September 27, 2017, security guard Antonio J. D. and a worker of Seglim company were arrested for their alleged involvement in the abduction of a baby from the "Dr. Aurelio Valdivieso" Civil Hospital in Oaxaca City.
