A few days after starting the school year in Nicaragua, uniform merchants in the eastern market report a good demand in these clothing of preschool, primary and secondary students.
Although the prices of the uniform pieces rose considerably, the merchants explained that the value is maintained despite the shortage of the fabric to make them.

The value of the shirts varies depending on the brand and size, as explained by the uniform merchants located in the national clothing sector in this populous shopping center.
“The sale is very good, thank God.In recent days there has been enough people.Yesterday there was enough movement.There are shirts we have from La Bondie, assorted and chosen from size 4 to the S, ”said Yeddith Rojas, uniform saleswoman in the eastern market.
Rojas explained that garments prices vary depending on the size.“From size 4 to 18, they are youthful and children.They have a price from 150 to 140 córdobas.Sizes S, M, L, which are those of men, leave them from 180 to 170 cordobas, ”said Rojas.

Other garments that maintain good demand in these days prior to the start of the school year are the pants, which maintain different prices depending on the size.
“A pants to speak of such a size 2 to 12 comes out in 200 córdobas and left up to 190 córdobas.I am talking about the National, from 27 to size 32 they get 240 córdobas and are left up to 230 córdobas, this price covers from size 13 to size 18, ”said Yeddith Rojas.
As for special sizes, they are a bit more expensive, as detailed by merchants.
As for the backpacks, also necessary for children to go to school, they are showing a price from 320 to 1,100 córdobas, merchants detailed.
“Prices are depending on the style and taste of the client.We have backpacks from the 320 córdobas.We have the Delta backpack, a small one that costs 320 córdobas, the median 360 and the large 390 córdobas.It all depends on the size and brand, ”explained a merchant who requested anonymity.
"We also offer rhardpacks for younger children, those are offered from the 850 córdobas to 1,100 cordobas," said the backpack merchant.

Another of the backpacks that keep demand among parents is the Totto brand, which are quoted from 550 cordobas.
Merchants also offer lunchboards for children who will attend preschool and that parents prefer to season food for recess time.
As for school supplies, the merchants consulted avoided providing prices because they affirmed that they could suffer a variation in the next few days due to the entry of these materials.
