And since we are talking about insects, talcum powder can also help us to soothe their bite because it will reduce the itching on our skin.

For oily hair

People with very oily hair almost have to wash their hair daily if they don't want it to look matted. Well, we can use talcum powder as a quick remedy if washing our hair is not an option or we don't have time. We must sprinkle a little of the powder on the part of our hair and leave it to act for about 10 minutes. After that time, the talcum powder will have already absorbed the moisture and fat and we will only have to brush our hair well so that there is no trace of the talcum powder remains.

Oil stains are the ones that cost the most to remove and on some fabrics we may worry about using certain stain removers for fear of damaging them. Well, with talcum powder we have the solution. We must apply a generous amount of talcum powder on the oil stain and let it act for 10 minutes. Then, we rub the stain with a clothes brush until there is no trace. Finally, we wash the garment as usual.

And it is also useful for blood stains for which we must make a paste with talcum powder and water and apply it to the stain. Let it dry and wash the garment.

Cats without odors

A cat's urine marks often give off a strong, unpleasant odor. To combat it, we just have to sprinkle talcum powder over the brand and let it absorb the pungent odor. And, in fact, we can also sprinkle them around the sandbox so that there is no trace of bad smells.
