Puppies from the metro ctc will help deliver letters from girls and boys to the wise men

The Metro has the best messengers to deliver letters from girls and boys to the Three Wise Men. These are the 25 puppies rescued from risk areas in the Metro, who receive care and temporary shelter in the Canine Transfer Center (CTC) of the Metro.

For the third consecutive year, the CTC dogs have the arduous and powerful mission of sending the letters from the little ones to Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, which were received via email: canesmagos@gmail.com, in order to avoid the use of balloons that affect and pollute the environment.

The letters show the love and care that children crave for homeless puppies; good wishes for Los Reyes and greetings to their loved ones who had to leave this world; as well as messages in which they ask for health and call to respect one another.

Meanwhile, little Lía wrote: “Dear magic dogs (…), I know that I have not behaved very well, what I want to ask you is to take good care of the street puppies and those who have owners who mistreat them, and that they take good care of my family (…), I want to ask the Kings to greet my grandmother who went to heaven and if they could some in-line skates, please”.

This 2022, Temo, a loin of the Creole breed, rescued last September on the tracks of the Cuauhtémoc station, on Line 1, is the executive director of the CTC, who has the honor and responsibility of sending the letters to the Three Wise Men , along with the rest of the Metro CTC loins: Tepo, Tenca, Juan, Potra, Rey, Magón, Paz-cual, Zara, Ta-za, Villano, Vally, Cuco, Río, Pepe, Nezi, Estrellita, Cholo, Quiz , Baya, Chabo, Lita, Martha and Nezito.

The Canine Transfer Center of the CDMX Metro is a temporary shelter, the only one of its kind in the world and its work is part of the Animal Protection and Welfare Law of Mexico City.

The Metro permanently promotes the adoption and responsible care of dogs, which is why the permanent slogan, especially on these dates, is Don't Buy, Adopt!

Dogs up for adoption can be visited directly at the CTC, located at Avenida de las Culturas s/n Colonia El Rosario, Mayor's Office of Azcapotzalco (in front of the Colegio de Bachilleres 1 Metrobus station, line 6), with a schedule from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Also, people who wish to make donations for the care and stay of the dogs can do so directly at the CTC, what is required are items for veterinary care and cures for dogs that are injured; as well as clothing, blankets, coats, belts, toys, soaps and harnesses, among others.
