Starting this Wednesday, the second dose of the Pfizer COVID vaccine will be applied to minors with comorbidities, the government of Mexico City announced.
The requirements to vaccinate minors with comorbidity are: identification, vaccination record obtained from the My vaccine platform and proof of the first dose.

At a press conference, Clark said that this week the first dose for people over 18 years of age and a second dose for those who are behind will also be applied this week.

The venues for the first dose are: Biblioteca Vasconcelos will use AstraZeneca and Cencis Marina will use Sputnik.
For second dose stragglers: Biblioteca Vasconcelos will apply AstraZeneca and in the Cencis Marina they will use Sputnik and Pfizer.
Clark pointed out that the city is still waiting for the approval of the National Vaccination Plan and the guidelines to start applying doses to adolescents between the ages of 15 and 17 without comorbidities.
He indicated that they already have a series of pre-selected venues.
Mexico City remains at a green epidemiological traffic light for the sixth week due to COVID-19.
Clark pointed out that in the capital there are 502 people hospitalized and the patients present less severe symptoms.
“The relevant hospitalization indicators continue to drop, but with a slightly slower trend. The reduction has been mainly in seriously ill patients, in the number of those intubated,” she said.
He added that in the case of hospital admissions there are 300 per week and there are less than 4 thousand active cases. “We are at record lows compared to the entire pandemic,” he said.
He highlighted the reduction of COVID cases in kiosks, he pointed out that it went from 3 thousand cases detected on average to about 100; the last week only 106 cases were registered.
