President Andrés Manuel López Obrador lamented the sale of girls in Guerrero communities and asked not to stigmatize the indigenous communities of the country.

He commented that these facts "occur unfortunately, in all social classes".

During his morning conference, and after an express question, AMLO said that "this idea that these things happen in indigenous communities and that acts of barbarism should not prevail".

The president continued to say that this idea "does not correspond to reality" and that "it is quite class and racist.It is not a generalized issue ".

According to the president in the indigenous peoples of Mexico there is a great reserve of cultural, moral and spiritual values.

He assured that on this, what is done is to strengthen the values that are, "that the fundamental thing is not material".

López Obrador said that these situations occur "because of the values that are lost, due to social decomposition, the predominance of money, material, family disintegration and abandonment to children".

According to their statements, "social decomposition and disintegration of families occurs above", that is, "it is less in indigenous peoples than in non -indigenous peoples".
