For the Spring-Summer 2022 collection, Sandro's creative team wanted to tell a story about the Mediterranean coast, in all its richness and freedom. With a dreamy spirit and a free heart, the Sandro woman longs for escape and sun, and on her wish list this summer are dancing, sunbathing and travel. In a word, live.

From the city, he only takes the essentials. In the suitcase she wears a three-piece striped suit, with which she will create mix and match outfits that only she knows how to combine, with a baseball shirt or over a crochet outfit. This is what makes the Sandro woman so special, she knows how to combine different styles. She boldly mixes volumes, patterns and layers.

This innate desire to set sail and have fun with her wardrobe can be seen in several of the pieces in the collection. For example, in satin garments, we can see marine symbols, resembling watercolors. Good luck charms or vacation souvenirs? Anchors, ropes and starfish are associated with knitted sweaters or tweed jackets.

Alongside the iconic streetwear that is the essence of Sandro, the Parisian design studio envisions a stopover on the Amalfi Coast. The tailoring is inspired by the Italian chic style, and is reinterpreted in bright colors: bubblegum pink, clementine orange, turquoise blue, green or purple.

When the volumes are modern, the look is reminiscent of the 70s: peace and love, floral prints, tie dye, and many more symbols that mean it's party time. Vintage prints in vivid colors are reminiscent of a lemon stand in a Ravello market.

The art of layering is reminiscent of the 90s, where authenticity and creativity already formed a cool look. The crochet garments and other handcrafted pieces look as if they were bought at a flea market.

The Sandro woman wears them with oversized jackets and open shirts. More sensual than ever, she even dares to go bareback. She also plays with fitted tops and sexy dresses with swimsuit-inspired details. In other words, she enhances her femininity.
