A dramatic situation was carried out by police officers from the US city of Los Angeles and a 14-year-old girl. In the middle of a shooting in the middle of North Hollywood, the minor lost her life.

The shooting occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. Thursday at a Burlington store, part of a chain formerly known as the Burlington Coat Factory, in the North Hollywood area of the San Fernando Valley.
The identities of each of those involved are being preserved for the time being.
Police initially responded to reports that a person was being assaulted with a deadly weapon and that gunshots were taking place, Los Angeles Police Capt. Stacy Spell said at a news conference.

In addition, the deputy chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, Dominic Choi, detailed that one of the projectiles pierced the wall of the clothing fitting room and hit the 14-year-old girl. The woman in question was taken to a hospital with moderate to severe injuries, according to Nicholas Prange, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department. Choi said that the authorities do not know why the man attacked her or if he knew her, also clarifying that she had injuries to her head, arms and face.
