Times change and sales periods too. Although it has traditionally been necessary to wait until summer is well under way for clothing companies and department stores to hang their 'Sale' posters, the reality is that for a few years the periods between promotions have been more and more short.

In fact, after the strict confinement that Spain experienced in the first months of 2020, last summer the big firms did not wait for July to arrive, surely with the intention of reactivating their economy, taking advantage of the fact that many people left home wanting to rush into summer, launch your most anticipated sales.

Specifically, in 2020 the first brands to offer discounts were those of the Tendam group (Cortefiel, Springfield, Pedro del Hierro and Women's Secret), which hung the poster announcing discounts between June 12 and 20, the German H&M, which started on the 18th of this month and the Catalan Mango, which also did so on June 20, 2020.

Later, on the 24th in the online stores and on the 25th in the establishments, Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka and the other Inditex stores joined, and on the same day the 25th also did the department stores of El Corte Inglés.

When will the sales start this 2021?

Although at the moment neither the Amancio Ortega nor Mango brands have confirmed the specific day on which their sales will start, El Corte Inglés has already officially started with a discount campaign, 'Los Tecnoprecios', which will last until next June 24. In addition, H&M, Bimba y Lola and Women's Secret are also already on sale.

Zara, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear and other Inditex stores

Although the sales as such have not yet arrived, in the online stores of the main Inditex brands you can already find many products with discounts. For example, Stradivarius offers in the 'Special Prices' section discounted summer dresses, sandals of different types with discounts, as well as accessories and sportswear that have also lowered the price.

For its part, you can also find discounted summer shoes at Zara, at Pull and Bear's virtual store there are selected items for both summer and winter with discounts of up to 57%, and at Bershka you can also buy clothes suitable for heat for lower prices than usual.

The English Court

Although El Corte Inglés has not announced the 2021 summer campaign as such, for now it has posted the 'Techno-prices' and 'Top discounts' poster. The first involves promotions of up to 20% on technology products that will last until June 24, and the second is sales of up to 40% on fashion, sports, electronics, home and more and will also end next Thursday.

The sales have officially arrived at Sfera. In this case, the discount period will cover from June 17 to August 16 with sales of different sizes.

H&M

At H&M the sales have definitely arrived. From June 21 to August 22, the Swedish firm offers discounts of up to 50% on women's, men's, baby, children's clothing and at H&M Home.

Women's Secret

The swimwear and lingerie firm has been on sale since June 6 and offers discounts of up to 70% on its products both in its physical and online stores. This campaign will end on August 31.

Cortefiel

The sales have also arrived at Cortefiel. Both on the brand's website and in its physical stores you can already find discounts of up to 60%. This year the sales will last until August 31.

Bimba and Lola

In Bimba y Lola they are also already on summer sales. The store offers discounts of up to 50% on some products both in its physical and online stores.
