It seems that the fashion for skinny jeans is on the way out. Wearing clothing that is too tight can have negative effects on your health, says Dr. Josh Ake, a nutritionist and naturopathic doctor. Side effects can go beyond simple discomfort.
Wearing tight jeans can trigger problems like reduced sperm quality in men and vaginal infections in women. Yeast or bacterial vaginal infections are among the most common.
It can also cause so-called "tight pants syndrome," a condition involving pinched nerves. It can also cause poor posture that leads to back pain. It can also cause digestive problems and abdominal pain.
1-Can cause compartment syndrome
One of the side effects of wearing tight jeans is a serious condition called compartment syndrome. It is also called "tight pants syndrome". This happens when the lateral skin, which runs from the abdomen to the thigh, is trapped.
The condition is characterized by a tingling, numbness, and burning pain in the outer region of the thigh. People with diabetes, obesity, and pregnant women are at higher risk for this condition.

2-Causes vaginal infections
A study from the Boston University School of Health found that wearing skinny jeans increases the risk of vaginal yeast infections. Women who wear skinny jeans four or more times a week were twice as likely to have various vaginal infections, compared to women who never wear them. These symptoms are more common when it is very hot or when exercising.
3-Reduces fertility in men
A study in Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology found that men who wear tight underwear and pants may have poor semen quality. Men who wear baggy boxers have a 25% higher sperm concentration by comparison.
4-Causes back pain
A study in the Journal of Physical Therapy Science found that wearing skinny jeans causes excessive lower back flexion. This can overstretch connective tissue, fascia, and increase stress on the discs, leading to back pain.
5-Affects digestive health
Wearing jeans that are too tight increases pressure on the stomach and can cause stomach pain. It also aggravates the symptoms of reflux disease and other hiatal hernia symptoms. This condition can be especially worse when you lean forward.
