In 2011 Juan Manuel Cividanes Barreras was awarded the Gold Medal of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Pontevedra (whose institution was vice president and treasurer), in recognition of his dedication and trajectory in the Confederation, as well as for his commercial activity, inheritancefamiliar who not only knew how to maintain, but also to promote.
The origins of the Cividanes family are located in A Guarda.Commercial activity dates back to the forties with the opening of Vigobazar and Blancazul in Vigo. They offered the most current fashion for men and women and would subsequently be completed with another establishment, Gladys. The activity continued to grow with five other businesses and a factory, a fashion empire turned into a symbol of the city.
