Kyle MacLachlan and Jeff Goldblum: The stars of Prada at Milan Fashion Week

The big stars in the Prada show at Milan Fashion Week were the renowned actors Kyle MacLachlan (from the Twin Peaks series) and Jeff Goldblum (Independence Day and Jurassic Park) were the most prominent personalities on the catwalk in the Prada show at Milan Fashion Week 2022. Thus becoming one of the most outstanding events of the fashion day in the Italian city.

Milan opened its doors to the big fashion houses for the fall winter 2022 season and for this occasion Prada marked the catwalk calendar with avant-garde designs that shared the spotlight with different personalities such as Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Maze Runner) and Asa Butterfield (Sex Education).

Opening the show was Kyle MacLachlan, who donned an elegant look from the collection marked by a dark, austere timelessness in sky blue satin pants and matching gloves under a shin-skimming black coat.

Ten years ago, after walking celebrities like Gary Oldman, Adrien Brody and Tim Roth at Fashion Week Fall Winter 2012, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons chose the charisma of Kyle McLachlan for this show.

Jeff Goldblum, on the other hand, was in charge of closing the show in an all black look including gloves. The actor has had plenty of style moments throughout his career, and this time around was no different. The black coat with a wide faux fur (fluffy) ribbon along the hem and puffy sleeves added to his quirky gait in square-toed boots (much loved by Jeff). With this, Goldblum is consolidated as an icon of the brand, as well as being one of the biggest followers of the work of Miuccia Prada.

Prada named the collection “Body of work” which, in the words of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, alludes to the hierarchy that work clothes bring to whoever wears them: “The collection celebrates the idea of work, in all spheres and meanings. It is practical, something daily. But here, you are formally important. You are not casual”, Miuccia Prada.
