Born in Alcalá de Guadaira on 28 June 1979, he has been married since 2015 to Sara Rubio, whom he met at his stage in 'Public mirror'. In 2017 the couple welcomed Lola, their first daughter.

2020 was a year full of emotions in Roberto Leal's life. The Andalusian was infected by Covid -19 during the recordings of 'Pasapalabra', so Manel Fuentes had to replace him during his recovery.

In February 2021, the presenter became a father for the second time, this time a child. Leo, who is named after him, is three years younger than his younger sister.
