A man has revealed the horrific way he found out his wife was sleeping with someone else. He did not have to do any research, it was enough for him to log into his Netflix account and identify that his username had been completely changed.
The man, who remained anonymous, took to the renowned Reddit website to tell his heartbreaking story. “Not sure who's more trash? My ex-wife or this asshole. Not even divorced," the man said in his post, which went viral almost immediately.
In what seems like the only modern way to break up today, his wife and her new partner had changed their login settings to the now-ex-husband's account on popular streaming site Netflix . That is, when he went to watch a series he realized that they had changed his name.
His ex-wife and his new lover not only changed their husbands email address to hers, but even left him a message on the Netflix site, letting him know exactly who he was.
The message reads: "Hi, guy who f*cked your ex-wife" (despite the fact that the couple is not yet divorced). Reading the story, one Reddit user quipped, “Well, did you contact them to let them know you didn't ask them to change the email address? That's the first thing I would have done."
Another commented: “This is easier said than done while the spouse is separating. We are talking about creating separate accounts, including credit cards, for example. It just deserves a slap in the face." A third user advised him to report it to Netflix as fraudulent activity.
