In 2000, one of the television formats that would change the most in the way of making television premiered in Spain: Big Brother. At that time, nobody knew what the word 'reality' meant and just because of the curiosity generated by the novelty of the format, the whole country saw this edition. After more than two decades, thousands of participants have passed through Big Brother. Some have passed through the house of Guadalix de la Sierra without pain or glory, others have left a mark on our memory.

Así ha cambiado Bea 'la legionaria', ¿qué fue de la conocida concursante de 'Gran Hermano 6'?

Beatriz González-Rico, better known as Bea 'la legionaria', became famous for participating in the sixth edition of Big Brother in 2004. 'La legionaria' starred in the 'reality' some of the most memorable moments in the program's history with that anger in which he released the phrase: "Nobody! Nobody thinks for me! Nobody!". Or hers: "If I want to fart here, I'll fart and if I want to fart here, I'll fart." However, now her life, 18 years after that contest, is very different.

After passing through the famous contest in 2004, Beatriz González-Rico returned in 2010 to Big Brother: The reunion. In this version of the format, some of the best-known faces from all the reality shows got together at the house to compete with each other.

In the reunion 'La legionaria' did not have much luck since she was expelled after the big fight she had with Melania. Bea lost her form and threatened her partner with "bursting her" for talking about her son.

Later, 'La legionaria' participated in Survivors that same year along with Beatriz Trapote, Consuelo Berlanga, Óscar Higares or Rafa Mora, but she did not have a good contest either. After 21 days, she had to leave the island of Nicaragua expelled by the audience. From then until 2017 nothing was heard from her. This year, Beatriz González-Rico went through Cámbiame determined to give her life a radical change.

Now, 'La legionaria' is focused on the growth of her son: Adrián. She suffered mistreatment by the father of her son and, after the separation from her ex, she met Fran with whom she has been in a relationship since 2016. In addition, the one from Fuenlabrada found work as a waitress in Getafe and was there for three years until The pandemic arrived in early 2020.

This summer 'La legionaria' made her last appearance on television. Specifically, in Save me. The program invited the former Big Brother contestant one afternoon to expose her personal drama. Beatriz told that due to the pandemic she lost her job and the help of 450 euros that she had did not allow her to pay the rent of 425 euros. For this reason, she had to stop paying for her apartment for a few months. However, she assured that in August she had already been working elsewhere for a month and that she was willing to repay all her debts.

Beyond television, the one from Fuenlabrada has become famous on the internet. One of the social networks in which she is most active is Tik Tok. Bea Rodríguez likes to be in contact with her followers on this social network and share her opinions on current issues, dance or upload funny videos to the fashion platform.

What's more, in the most viral video of 'La legionaria' on Tik Tok, Beatriz Rodríguez criticizes Jorge Javier Vázquez's attitude in the programs she presents. The former Big Brother contestant accuses the Catalan presenter of misogyny and treating women worse than men in the programs she hosts. It is clear that 'La Legionaria' has something for everyone and that, 18 years after becoming popular thanks to Big Brother, she is still an unrepeatable character, now on social networks.
