Another year that goes away and a new one that arrives. Without a doubt, 2020 will be marked in the history of humanity by the coronavirus pandemic, however, the traditions to receive 2021 will continue since they are very important in Colombian culture.

On December 31, in the last minutes of the day, around 12:00 am, the rituals and cabals begin to receive the new year, in order to ask that the next one be much better than the one that leaves us. Some of them are, eating 12 grapes at midnight, burning New Year's Eve dolls, going out with a suitcase and walking around the block with it, and wearing underwear of a certain color: yellow or red.
