The guaros for this opportunity have decided to reuse the garments of previous years and not buy new ones, with the intention of reducing the expenses that merit dismissing 2021.

"In my house I have a pantyhose that I bought last year, this year I put them on again to see if the abundance finally reaches me," says Larense Marielis Agüero, laughing.

For this December 31, there have been few stores that exhibit yellow pantyhose, boxers and bras. And it is that during the last December, these have been cold due to the little output they have had.

"I bought a few to put up for sale, but people pass by, see them and don't even ask about the price," says Marlene Vizcaya, who has been selling intimate apparel in the city center for 10 years. She hopes to be able to get out of all the merchandise during the day today.

A bra can be had for up to $5 , while pantyhose and boxers are priced from $ 3 to $ 5 greenbacks . The threads are the most accessible, with a value of $1.

Others have downplayed the ritual and this end of the year they will choose to wear any color under their pint.

"Before, I fulfilled these traditions, but now the only thing that matters to me is being with my family and praying a lot to God so that he reaches out to us with much life and prosperity," adds Marielis.
