Using the wrong size can have negative consequences for our image and our health. When the bra is very tight, the "chubby" can be very visible, depending on the blouse or top we are wearing. If you have a large bust, a size up would prevent the perfect fit and could look saggy. Whatever the case, it doesn't make your clothes or figure show off in the best way.
In addition to the discomfort of wearing a suffocating or, on the contrary, very loose bra, choosing the wrong one can cause skin problems, posture and back, neck and shoulder pain, among others. Therefore, we encourage you to explore what your bra size is.
Size is expressed in numbers (36, for example) and is the contour that is measured below the chest surrounding the back, it refers to the elastic bra band. When we talk about the cup, it is about the volume of the bust, it is the most prominent part. It is measured by placing the tape measure on the chest, as at the height of the nipples. It is indicated by letters, for example: A, B, C.

First we are going to get the measurement of your torso. Stand up straight and take a tape measure on the inch side to measure it, just below the bust, bordering the back with the tape. If the result is an even number (32, 34, 36, 38...), that is your size measurement, but if it is an odd number, consider the next higher number. For example, when measuring your torso the result was 33 inches, your size would be: 34.

Some experts recommend adding 3 inches to the measurement obtained. Try what suits you best.
To continue, it is recommended that you have your most comfortable bra on, that is so that you have the best height for your bust. Now you are going to take the tape measure and you are going to measure your bust by passing it over the back and taking care that it is straight on the part with the most volume, at the height of the nipples. Fit loosely. Write down your result and subtract the size number you obtained in the previous step. For example, if your torso measures 34 and your bust is 36 inches, you are going to subtract 36 - 34, it gives you 2, which is cup B.
The right bra for you is 34B.

This is the guide so you know exactly how many inches correspond to each letter:
-Up to 1 inch: Cup A -2:B -3:C -4:D
The AA cup results in less than an inch and if it is greater than 5, consult with a consultant at your favorite lingerie store to find out what is the next cup they offer there, it could be like this: DD (5 inches ).
Finally, combine your torso measurement (height) with the letter that resulted from your bust measurement (cup), which in our example is 34B.
The most important thing is that you feel good about your choice. Check that the fit is perfect and that you do not feel any discomfort. The band of the bra should not be too tight, you should be able to fit 2 fingers between the fabric and the skin. Do the same with the suspenders. If your whole hand fits, it means that it is too big for you.

Take care also that the cup is full and that your breasts are comfortable in the space, if a little skin comes out somewhere you should try a larger size.
Regardless of a number, this can help you tell if you're wearing the wrong bra:

-You see rolls on your back because of the bra fit. -The cup presses your bust and is perceived divided in two. -The strips leave strong marks on you, so it is very small. -The straps fall towards the shoulders, it's very big. -The back that very marked. you suffer!
And a sure sign is that of the dozens you have, you only wear one pair frequently, which tells you that you have to check if you should renew your bras.
One of the mistakes we often make is believing that we will maintain the same size for years. Our beautiful bodies can go through natural changes such as hormonal changes, the passing of the years, pregnancy, weight variations, etc., which possibly cause our size to change. According to a Women's Health article, some specialty stores recommend "refreshing" your measurement every 6-12 months.
