Kim Kardashian announced that his skims brand will serve as an official underwear and pajamas for the United States team at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, as well as for Paralympics.

"When I received the call to invite Skims to be part of @teamusa, every moment I spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympic athletes from the band line, closed the circle," the Socialité tweeted, 40 years old.

And while this will be the first time that a brand will be the official supplier of underwear of the team, American athletes will also use Ralph Lauren uniforms, as they have done since 2008.

Kardashian noticed his personal connection with the Olympic Games on social networks, since he grew up seeing Caitlyn Jenner compete.

"I traveled with my stepfather and my family to different cities for Olympic tests, Olympic Games and Caitlyn Jenner athletics competitions and at each stop I bought an Olympic shirt as a memory," said the businesswoman.

The football star Alex Morgan;Basketball player A’ja Wilson;Paralympic athlete Scout Bassett;The swimmer Haley Anderson and the athlete of track and field Dalilah Muhammad, were chosen to model the designs in a new advertising campaign.

The designs include bralettes, boxer type underwear, sleeves without sleeves, underpants, t -shirts, socks, leggings and more, all stamped with the United States flag and the Olympic rings.

Kardashian also revealed that fans will be able to buy the pieces as part of a special collection on the skims website.
