PNP command retires two police officers accused of doping and sexually abusing a young woman

Two police officers, who were serving at the Ate police station, accused of doping and sexually abusing a 24-year-old girl, were placed in retirement by the Peruvian National Police Command, having found in them "disciplinary administrative responsibility", according to statement No. 018-2021 of said institution.

In addition, it indicates that “said police unit investigated the complaint about an alleged commission of the crime against sexual freedom-sexual rape, to the detriment of a woman that occurred on November 25, 2020, on the border of the districts of Santa Anita and El Agustino. . To date, the aforementioned PNP non-commissioned officers are being investigated judicially.”

As recalled, both custodians were denounced on November 25, 2020 by a 24-year-old girl for a serious crime. The victim, in her story, pointed out that she was intervened by police officers when she drank liquor with her friends on a street in the Ate district. She was put on a patrol car along with her friend.

On the way, the police forced the young woman's companion to get off her and continued alone with her. They offered to take her to her home. “We take you to the door of your house, but without the patrol car, we are going to leave the patrol car in a parking lot, outside the police station, and I will take out my car,” one of the agents would have told the victim according to her complaint.

On the way to her house, the policemen bought her a soda and then she woke up naked in a hostel. "I woke up and I was without underwear, without pants, in a lodging and the two of them were there," the young woman denounced at that time.

The victim said that she fully regained consciousness when she was riding a public transportation bus. Her collector told her that two policemen boarded her.

The National Police guarantees an impartial investigation to determine the alleged responsibility of police personnel who commit serious offenses (against the institutional image) or very serious offenses (against the police service), the statement concludes.
