The new edition of Milan Fashion Week is once again filled with editors, models and even this year even footballers have attended. They did not want to miss the most important shows and presentations of the collections focused on the Autumn and Winter season.
The most important presentations of the week with Zegna, Dsquared2, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Fendi and many more. They have filled the streets with patent leather, camouflage and knitwear. After having gone through difficult times, attendance returns at Milan Fashion Week Men's 23.
Big Hollywood stars have paraded on the catwalk in Milan, including Jeff Goldblum and Kyle MacLachlan, to put a little optimism in a week marked by cancellations due to the increase in cases of Covid-19.
Fendi
The designer was inspired by the dandy of the 1920s, splashing refinement. The blazers were transformed into large capes, the point has been very present in the parade. This firm has been presented with cuts on the chest and striking accessories. In addition, the collection points to more fluid clothes, with pants so wide that they became half skirts.
Dolce and Gabbana
Its men's collection welcomes all audiences and territories, offering a large repertoire of garments dominated by graffiti and colorful prints. During a press conference we heard designers saying their willingness to keep the attention of the Zeta generation, "Young people use fashion differently, but their motivation is still the same as when we started: to express themselves." We have also seen looks marked by oversized sunglasses, this refers to virtual reality devices.
Zegna
Ermengildo Zegna with its new autumn-winter collection has shown us monochromatic looks and most of them in earth tones, but elegant. Once again the Italian firm has made a great display of tailoring and good knitwear, if not it has given us new ideas to combine garments for day to day. However, in this parade we are left with leather-style garments, which are being a trend this winter and from what we have seen they will continue next year.
Dsquared2
Twins Dan and Dean Caten turned their show into a journey where different textures have been captured, sequins, puffer jackets, jeans with extravagant prints and knitwear. His collection considers an evolution with the past seasons. Kean Etro the artistic director affirms that this collection is an itinerary for a traveler, an inner or intellectual journey.
prada
Prada brought Milan Fashion Week to an end, with more than 200 guests in addition to the two great Hollywood actors that we mentioned at the beginning, it was also possible to enjoy young actors such as Thomas Brodie-Sangster, the star of Queen's Gambit; Asa Butterfield, leader of Sex Education and Ashton Sanders, actor of Moonlight.
Prada's collection focused on the idea of working from different spheres and meanings. The outerwear was the great protagonist in trench coats and parkas. However, this fashion week has also seen a multitude of accessories, which came in the form of backpacks, fluorescent gloves and belts with the characteristic triangle of Prada.
As we previously announced, the Italian fashion week did not go as expected, since the designer Giorgio Armani decided to cancel his parade after reflecting on the situation of the pandemic. This fashion week has been marked by 6 trends: tailoring, puffer jackets, geometric cuts, layered looks, knitwear and shorts.
